Orunodoi

‘Orunodoi’ or Arunodoi Scheme is a new scheme of the Government of Assam is launched on 2nd October 2020. Under ‘Orunodoi’, monetary  benefits has been envisaged for more than 24 lac poor household in the state. The schematic benefit has been enhanced from 830/- to Rs. 1000/ Women. They will receive the amount on the first day of every month, starting from October 2020. Women being the primary caretakers of the family are kept as beneficiaries of the scheme. ‘Orunodoi’ scheme will provide Financial Assistance of Rs.

e-District Project

The Assam e-District Project is a Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). It aims at seamless service delivery of services to the citizen by enhancing the efficiencies at the districts. It will make Government Services accessible to the common man in his locality through Internet, Common Service Centres (Arunodoy CSCs) and Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs) at DC, SDO and Circle Offices.

ASWAN

A robust communication corridor is the first and foremost requirement for the successful implementation of e-Governance projects. State wide Area Network helps us establish the said communication corridor.

This network will facilitate the smooth rollout of e-Governance initiatives across departments. Similarly the horizontal connectivity project will eventually connect all government offices in the state through the ASWAN POPs.

  • Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) seeks to provide better socio-economic infrastructure facilities to the minority communities particularly in the field of education, health & skill development which would further lead to lessening of the gap between the national average and the minority communities with regard to backwardness parameters.

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana

The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme) was launched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 13 February 2016. It envisages a uniform premium of only 2 per cent to be paid by farmers for Kharif crops, and 1.5 per cent for Rabi crops. The premium for annual commercial and horticultural crops will be 5 per cent.
